Only a few brushworks by V. Tatlin, one of the greatest painters and tastemakers of the 20^th century, remained. Therefore, recent appearance of this flower-piece is a sensation. This is almost as sensational as discovery of an unknown picture by Leonardo da Vinci would have been found. I had no doubts that it is not a falsification (which might have been rather plausible as Tatlin's works are very expensive) after careful examining the picture and comparing it with his well-known works. Among his flower-pieces, I found some close analogues.  Based on the manner of work, the picture belongs to 1908 (early period).
